Madhav College, established in 1959 and funded by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, is managed by the Madhya Bharat Education Society, one of Central India's oldest educational committees (founded in 1937). The foundation and development were driven by the visionary efforts of Shri Sadashiv Ganesh (Baba Gokhale) and Dr. Hari Ramchandra Divekar.
